How to use the quiz
- Each case is an ECG on one page followed by the answer on the next.
- The later cases are difficult. However many times I try, I can't get them all right either.
Still, if you go through to the end, I think you will get a feel for the difference between WPW and FVP.
Key point
The key point is whether R is taller than S in leads V1 and V2.
Tests for a definite diagnosis
- WPW: Holter monitoring is useful for diagnosing WPW.
- FVP: the ATP test is the definitive way to diagnose FVP.
- I think it is difficult to confirm FVP by Holter monitoring.
