Intra-atrial reentrant tachycardia

Counterclockwise rotation around the tricuspid valve is common-type atrial flutter.

Clockwise rotation around the tricuspid valve is uncommon-type atrial flutter.

In types that do not rotate around the tricuspid valve, a slow conduction zone in damaged myocardium is often the substrate of the arrhythmia.
